Unfortunately, the current investment landscape has been challenging for cellular agriculture companies, leading to the loss of valuable knowledge with each company’s closure.

The Knowledge Stewardship Initiative is an opportunity for people who are sunsetting cellular agriculture companies and who want their data rescued, recovered, and reused.

Think of our stewardship as a service where knowledge will be:

Rescued via donation to New Harvest, using the Knowledge Stewardship Agreement, which ensures safe archival storage with backups and open access,

Recovered via organization and sorting by New Harvest and other partners, and

Reused by researchers, non-profits, and companies alike.

This initiative will build the infrastructure for first preserving and organizing this knowledge, then making it openly accessible for the advancement of the field.
