The Open Cell Ag Repository

An open, free, and easily accessible repository for journal articles, book chapters, presentations, protocols, data sets, and other scholarly resources.

2020 - Ongoing

CALL TO ACTION

All cell ag researchers are encouraged to submit their work to the repository, and all knowledge types are accepted (publications, reports, presentations, graphics, datasets, and more!).

A major goal of this repository is to increase the accessibility of publications that may currently be held in paywalled journals.

Most journals will allow the accepted version of your article to be placed in a repository after embargo (or sooner if you use a rights retention strategy!). Look up your journal here to see if you can make it open in this repository.

THE OPEN CELL AG REPOSITORY

Overview

The New Harvest OpenCellAg Repository is a place to collect knowledge related to this novel field in one location, making it openly accessible for scientists, regulators, innovators, and the public.

In order to see our vision of a more just, equitable, and humane food system one of our key strategies is to default to open.

By creating an open cellular agriculture repository on Zenodo we ensure that the research produced by New Harvest - through our various programs and initiatives - and other researchers is accessible for all to use, read, share, and build upon.

In that way we are increasing the impact of this crucial knowledge by furthering its reach.

THE OPEN CELL AG REPOSITORY

Outcomes

The Open Cell Ag Repository is hosted on Zenodo, which lets researchers in any subject area share open science. It is curated and maintained by New Harvest and allows cell ag researchers all over the world to share resources.

A major goal of this repository is to increase the accessibility of cell ag publications that may currently be hosted in paywalled journals.

All cell ag researchers are encouraged to submit their work to the repository, and all knowledge types are accepted (publications, reports, presentations, graphics, datasets, and more!)
